Dr. Brian Bodnarchuk grew up in Paducah, KY and graduated valedictorian from Community Christian Academy in 2005. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Union University in Jackson, TN where he graduated summa cum laude. He went on to medical school at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine and received his medical degree with high distinction in 2013. After medical school Dr. Bodnarchuk completed a transitional year internship at Indiana University Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. He then completed his ophthalmology residency at Louisiana State University Health Science Center in New Orleans, LA from 2014-2017.

Dr. Bodnarchuk returned to his hometown of Paducah and joined The Ophthalmology Group in 2017. He provides comprehensive medical and surgical eye care including diabetic retinopathy screening, glaucoma diagnosis and management, eyelid surgery, cataract surgery with premium intraocular lenses, and laser assisted surgery.

Dr. Bodnarchuk is an avid bow hunter and Kentucky basketball fan. He enjoys the outdoors, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
